We try to eat at Amigo Cafe every time we roll through Kayenta on our way to Valley of the Gods and southern Utah. The service has always been friendly and fast and the food is delicious. The salsa is fiery and tasty and I slather it on EVERYTHING. Try the Chimichanga or any of the combo plates and make sure you save room for the fry bread a la mode for dessert.
Been there in February 19. Incredible food, especially the salsa 🙌 - authentic mexican food and nice people! Had the chimichanga and it was amazing! Don’t be scared by the external view!
Homey place. The sign doesn't lie: it is good food. This is some of the best food I've had in Arizona. The salsa is especially good, and while I laughed at the sign saying that they sold it by the gallon, I found myself buying 16oz of it so that I could enjoy the salsa when I got home. The salsa really is that good.If you get fry bread expect it to be the size of a dinner plate. The Navajo tacos are the same size, so plan accordingly. The tortilla chips were a bit bland, but I don't think that diminished the place one bit.The staff is friendly and will treat you with kindness and respect.
Excellent restaurant with very nice people. The salsa is deliciously spicy and the burritos are great. Don’t forget to try the fry bread.
Great spot for a quick bite on the way to Monument valley. Amazing value, and friendly staff!
Stumbled on this place after stumbling out of monument valley.Dont judge a book by its cover. Worth the stop. Salsa was delicious and the kids ate the fried bread a la mode so fast I couldn't take a picture.Get the Navajo burger with green chilies
Great place to eat while visiting Monument Valley. Traditional Navajo tacos (with fried bread), stew and enchiladas. Friendly staff and good place to unwind!
Stopped here on our way to Monument Valley.Had to have breakfast. We all got Breakfast Burritos and a side of Navajo Frybread. The burritos were full of eggs and beans with hash browns stuffed in them. They were huge! The Frybread was delicious by itself and with honey on top.The orange juice was a bit sour, but still drinkable.A small place, but loves the table service and friendly people.
Tex-mex so good your abuelita will get mad you ate here. Nimasaní will thank you because she didn't have to cook.
Honest mexican and navajo food in a country rustic atmosphere.
I rarely eat here. I enjoy the chips and salsa. The meals are good. Nothing to extreme. Tacos are good.
For a small restaurant, service was excellent. Felt homely environment. Food was hot and fresh, even for take out order.
Great place for lunch. We had the red sour cream chicken enchiladas and green sauce cheese enchiladas. Think a lot of locals eat here.
